Trujillo

Trujillo located on the banks of the Moche River in northwestern Peru is the capital of La Libertad Region. Due to its lovely weather, it is known as the "Capital of the everlasting Spring", and is considered the "Capital of the Marinera," which is a typical dance in Peru. We spent several days here visiting friends and taking day trips to numerous archaeological sites.
