Birds
With its close proximity to India Sri Lanka has representatives from each of the Asian bird families, is home to over 450 species of birds, 34 of them endemic. With easy accessible habitat and a relatively small distances to cover, this island paradise was an irresistible destination. This email will feature favorite feathered friends. We saw close to half of regularly occurring bird species and all of the endemics. I managed to photograph over 200 species and 33 of the endemics.
