Little Mosque
The Rustem Pasha Mosque, also known as the little mosque, was built around 1562 over a complex of vaulted shops. The narrow, twisting steps make it hard to find, but it is well worth a visit. It is known for its large quantities of exquisite Iznik tiles, set in a wide variety of beautiful floral and geometric designs. We visited early on a Sunday morning and were delighted to be the only visitors for a time.
