Florida Wetlands, 2017

A spring visit to Green Cay and Wakodahatchee wetlands and nature reserves always yields great sightings. The highlights from April 2017 were day-old Great Egret Chicks, Glossy Ibis on the nest, juvenile Great Blue Herons, and much more. Speices seen included Alligator, Black-crowned Night Heron, Cattle Egret, Double-crested Cormorant, Egyptian Goose, River Cooter, Glossy Ibis, Great Blue Heroon, Great Egret, Green Heron, Iguana, Limpkin, Osprey, Painted Bunting, Palm Warbler, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Red-winged Blackbird, Roseate Spoonbill, Tricolored Heron, White Ibis, Wood Stork
