During 2007 My wife
and I went on a textile
tour of Peru that
ultimately included
visits to Machu
Picchu, Cusco and
surrounding Andean
villages, Arequipa,
Ayacucho, and
various lodges in the
lowland Rainforest.
HIghlights included
the Incan ruins at
Machu Picchu, Moray,
and Sacsahuayman,
the beautiful textiles
and faces from
Chichero, Pitumarca,
Ayacucho, Arequipa,
and Chahuaytire, and
the wildlife at the
Colpas of
Tambopata and
Heath River in the
lowlands.
