My wife and I journeyed to Southern Africa for the month of January, 2008. The
trip was fabulous, and included dramatic scenery, beautiful wildlife
encounters, tasty and varied meals, excellent accommodations, interesting
traveling companions, and outstanding guides. Namibia featured the most
dramatic, varied, and stark landscapes. We viewed thousand foot high dunes,
mist shrouded shores, and desolate bleached desert. And, surprisingly found
many desert-adapted animals there.
